i think i would have preferred more of the street scene to be cropped out, a closer crop in general. also, if it were taken from a lower perspective, i think i would have connected more with the subject, instead of feeling like i'm just standing by watching, does that make sense?

Nice. Light a bit hard and the colors are suffering for that. The main subject in the shadow. Composition alright, maybe better if cropt tighter from belove. Othervise i like this image.

if this is your family i'm confused. you have 2 wonderful models and you have chosen to take a pic of them doing a rather odd exercise. why not have them walking down the boardwalk, perhaps with her on his shoulders, perhaps blurring out the background around them (if possible with your lense) to focus on their togetherness...just a thought

I think cropping out lots of the background would have given this shot better focus ... lighting seems to be stronger sun which isn't the most complimentary . Hard to get nice skin tones , deal with the shadow and the bright bounde off the stone.

a very special moment captured on 'film'. a shallow dof will help to improve this pic by eliminating a somewhat distracting background.

Excellent candid. Background is distracting.

Very bright midday sun, not very flattering as it causes harsh shadows. Also, looks very "snapshot", not composed and thought out.

Nice candid shot of a Dad helping his child. Technically well done. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice rich colors. I'd probably zoom in on the two main characters and crop out the others.
