I expect low scores and great humiliating criticism on this. I almost chose not to submit. But I need to learn what I'm doing wrong and this is my best shot at honest input from the experts.

Post challenge: Humiliations galore!

seems a bit over sharpened. the doorway is distracting as well are the shoelaces running off of the page. I think this could have been a more interesting shot from a different angle with a bit more exotic lighting.

Nice arrangements of shoes by color it balances the composition. I like the white trum and the concrete door frame shown but perhaps a little more at top could be shown to frame this out. I say this a 10 for fitting in the challenge description...

not a bad pic at all. a little more contrast and saturation would have helped.

This portrays a feeling of family but it just doesn't do anything past that for me.

I like the idea behind this one, might I be picky and say i would have preferred it with all the shoes standing up? Still a great shot and nice and clear.

Not another shoe family...!

the shoes say they belong to a family...now, think of something the family might do together....walk down a street, play in a stream, ??? whatever ....perhaps if you had the shoes playing out that scene it would be more interesting. Try it...then let me know if you agree.

I"d crop out the door to the left. Sepia would be a great filter for this shot.

I like the shoe idea. I think that it is creative, the title is cute too. The background doesn't do much for your picture though. I wish that either the shoes were all up or down. The door is distracting.
