Ahhhh Chicadees are my favorite birds. Such cheerful little things.
This image makes it very easy to identify the bird. The composition is good, with the size bird filling enough of the frame and the good use of thirds. I like the diagonal branch too.
The line in the window is distracting, and I probably would have cropped out the top of the window frame, since it is an unnecessary detail.
The texture on the tree is good.
Ideally a little catchlight in the eye, would add some appeal. You could try flash fill to see how that works next time. It may end up being too much, but worth the try.
Overall I like this.

Grayce

For by grace we are saved by faith, and not of works lest anyone should boast!!!
Hooooray! I love this. I relate to it 100% and it strikes a very familiar chord.
First of all I'd like to say it takes a lot of courage to post an image with a spiritual concept. Christianity is all too often bashed. I applaud you.
This is a simple image and I appreciate the uncluttered composition. The lines are clean and the silhouette is unmistakable and familiar to all. The sun behind the cross is a perfect complement to the overall picture providing beautiful gradations of blue. The light also wonderfully represents "The light of the world" as well. Very good use of symbolism.
I like the angle, the perspective. Very nice.
Technically everything seems to be just fine. No noise, or artifacts.
Overall you did a very good job, and this is worthy to hang on a wall. I'd hang it in my home... :-)
Best regards and blessings,

Grayce

Cute! Very nice composition and technically well done. Not particularly humorous without the title. But nice. I love animal pictures.

Very cute! The shadow on the cat's face is a drawback technically though. But I still like it.

Swash, I'm not seeing the artifacts, or noise that others are seeing. I have had a lot of difficulty with that too. People frequently tell me they see a lot of noise in my pics and they are clear as a bell on my monitor. So frustrating. I've also been criticized for borders. Sighhhhhh....what can we do? Can't please all the peeps all the time.
I like the exposure here. The lighting is just perfect to bring out the texture in the white feathers. The crop works very well. The pose couldn't be better, and you really captured the moment.
This would be very nice hung on a wall. Good job!

Well...I liked this one right from the first time I saw it. The lighting is very well exposed Karma, and there are no overexposed, blown-out hot spots, yet there is still some detail visible within the shaded area. Very well done!
The background is appropriately black to provide good contrast. The symmetrycal composition works well here.
The only thing that needs work, is the glare near the peak of the roof. Although it couldn't be done for the challenge, it can be easily cloned out.
I like the way you framed the picture with a color from the image.
Nice job Karma. A lovely image!

The idea is cute. I like the way you have it framed/composed. The way the baby is all bundled up, it's believable that she just got in after a night of partying.
I think this picture would fit quite well into the current humor/humour challenge...funny!
The focus on this is soft enough to detract from the overall image. Seeing the face clearly would enhance this.
