WOW - I just love the processing of this image - in fact love the perspective of the person in the front too. Wonderful

Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Hi Sulamk :)

I'm not familiar with the song you chose, but I can relate your photograph to the song title quite easily. The infrared filter adds a very nice surreal element to this image as well... the offbeat color and foliage glow that the IR filter gives creates a very interesting environment for this photo. Personally, I really like what the IR filter does to the sky and clouds :)

Compositionally, I think this photo is excellent. The only minor flaw that grabs my eye is that the girl's feet are slightly too close to the bottom of the frame for my taste. I would ultimately like to have her feet a little further up in the frame...

Keep up the good work :)

Thank-you all who commented and voted on this photo! It was taken using a hoya R72 filter on the camera and I used auto levels, brightnes and contrast and hue and saturation in minimal ammounts. The camera was in colour mode aperture priority and I leave the iso set to 100 if I want to get this effect.

There is something awesome about this photo and I can't quite put my finger on it. It may be the tint. I'm not sure, but it makes it. There is something so special about the green trees. Focus and cropping are good. Don't particularly like what the tint did to the sky, but love what it did to the photo. Great composition. 9 PTL

brilliant pic
were the colour matches on the model with plants deliberate, cause it creates a lovely balance.

Very nicely done. I don’t usually like post processing to this extreme, but this has something that grabs at me. I’d love just a little more picture under her feet, she is almost crowding the bottom corner. The wrinkles in her pants are fabulous. But the frame is WAY too bold for my taste and uneven horizontal/vertical. = 8 Good luck

I don't know the song but I like the picture for it's composition and it's colors. Is it an IR-picture?

I like the composition of this photo. The softer focus works well here. Nice shot - Inspzil

Shees looking out of frame but there isnt any sense of anything actually being there, parhaps she should be looking to the right.

I'd be interested in knowing how this one was done, at the end of the challenge. Looks like IR but then IR usually doesn't have these colors. 7

I like what you did with the color. I would like to know how much of it is real and how much of it is enhanced.

like the idea, the color, but feet should not sit on the bottom of the photograph, leave a little space.
