Good find, well captured. Those dots really make this picture unique. If you want richer colors, try duplicating the the picture as a new layer and use the multiply blend mode at differing opacities.

Yellow is the perfect color for summer. The towels add a good forground interest. And I can (just barely) see people behind some rails. All the ingredients are present for a pleasant picture. All the stuff between the towels and the people could have been eliminated for a more focused presentation of your idea. Moving in closer to the pool would have helped a lot.

This is colorful in a pleasant way. It's an excellent subject for a macro and an abstract. The exposure might have been brought down a bit to get rid of the white spots. Other than that, it looks as if you got all the technicals down ok.
The composition is a bit static.
If you feel like exploring more, could I suggest try bending the metal into different shapes and introducing some shadow play within the composition. Then you can add some soap bubbles. They should pick up some of the color of the pad and introduce a softness against the rough texture. Or you could also toss some water drops in to add even more variety.
Final note. The colors are very pretty and well captured. The dof creates a sparkling mood.

This is a good beginning attempt. This is a good picture to practice on.
Looks like you missed a couple of spots. Namely the building on the left side behind the subject and the dog(?)and bag on the right side. I think that less blur on her hands and leg would be better and more blur on the boy.
When I look at this I get the feeling right away that it's not real. A part of it is that not only should things blur progressivly outwards but also the focal plane will have different amounts of blur. Hard to explain. Look at the zipper on her jacket. The bottom two sides are about the same distance down and out from the center and they are both about the same distance from the lens, so they should both be blurred in the same manner and yet the one side is much sharper than the other.
I wish I had this type of blur in psp.

Thia is a pleasant picture to look at. The composition is good, with the two groups repeating each other. It might just be me, but the border is a different color, more green. I think it would look better if you retoned the picture. That should bring everything back to the same hue. But then again, I think the picture is strong enough to do without a border.
