Very nice sky, but the foreground elements could be more effectively composed and framed. IT doesn't really give a strong sense of a play area or sporting area, although I think I can tell that the big square thing is a basketball net. Perhaps a tighter shot with the net in frame would have been more effective.

Sanandan, you'll just have to take more photos that are understandable by the average American before you can get the kind of score you deserve... but then they wouldn't have the uniqueness I love... bah.

Child's Play

Initially I didn't like this photo, but the more I look at it, the more it grabs me :). It's taken down at the level a child would see as he/she is playing with the toys, which makes everything come alive in an imaginitive way. But also, I love the composition, with those blue trees, and the dinosaur head coming in from the side. The narrow depth of field gives the image a sense of scale and leads your eyes even more to the dinosaur. Nice photo :)

This is really cool. I like the overexposed look, because it's just like being dazzled by looking up towards the sun. It helps the sense of scale and perspective. The man's face is kind and friendly. Very evocative. (There's maybe a nasty undertone if you imagine he's a big bad stranger rather than a kindly father or relative, but I'm mostly ignoring that!)

Childhood Obsession

I understand this photo because I was horse mad too, but the composition is a bit clumsy to me. The horses' heads merge in a way that might be touching in a closeup, but since the neck fades out on the painting it's just a bit confusing.
