As an Air Force pilot, I traveled world wide and took loads of pictures. When I retired my wife gave me a retirement gift - a weekend photo workshop with Ernie Braun. (www.ernestbraun.com). That workshop changed my life.
II became so excited by Ernie (and Yosemite) that I went back to college and obtained an AA degree in photography . I've been making pictures, mostly nature, ever since.
My other degree is a B.S. in Computer Science, so I also like the "puzzle solving" aspect of DPC. It really makes you grow photographically to conceive an idea, then develop a plan and come up with an image. Besides that, it's usually fun! |

Sharing a discovery is one of a photographer's joys. Another is to encourage other people to look closer and to make their own discoveries. - Ernie Braun (www.ernestbraun.com) |
