 Well, storm on the Pont du Change in Paris .... I had to try my hand at it. Of course it's not auto exposure but I forgot now what I used and besides I was too excited. A little postcard for me and I share it with you.
Nothing really compared with the similar shots seen on DPC but.... I am a child too and enjoy the same toys ....

Hmmm, this might turn into my PB. Who would have thought of it?
It was a "mock" storm. I did not get one drop of rain and the people in the boats were probably thrilled going directly into the sheets of rain. Three boats, Bateau Mouche and two Bateau Parisiens. 6.9381 so far and there are three more days. Who knows? I was unstoppable then and now nursing a bad sinusitis. No connection with that storm.

the single boat on the river definitely gives this picture a story to tell, where is it going and why is it going out with the storm near. Nice purple tones

Wow! I've never captured lightning myself, let alone with such nice foreground and such beautiful colors in the sky. Very impressive. Hope the camera didn't get wet :)

Well. Wow. This is incredible.
The gradient in the water. The depth of the image. The lighting of the front of the bridge. Its descent into darkness on the left. The soft haze of rainfall in the distance. The mocking sun-rays on the left. The fear the boaters must be facing. This is not a simple image. While I would have done some lens distortion correction to straighten the building on the left, I like the thought that it's shying away from the lightning.
Wherever this image ends up, it is in credible. Easiest 10 I've given in a long time.
