Really, really like what you did with this. An out-of-the-box take on the challenge, and well executed. I love that you held detail in the tower, while shooting it contre-jour.
My *only* niggle would be that I really would like to see the tower either precisely centered and vertical, or much more off-vertical. As it is, it looks like it was intended to be "precisely centered and vertical" but just missed.

Lovely commitment! I'm sure you got this idea the moment you saw the challenge and flew all the way to Paris just to get this shot - you deserve the Blue! Well done!
Lovely B&W treatment and although the Tower isn’t perfectly aligned and shot from the centre it is still a magnificent photo!

Very powerful shot of the Eiffel Tower--I would like to see the very top of the frame a little less darkened, but overall, great use of wide-angle and I love the silhouette of all the framework! Well done!

I struggled with trying to think of an interesting way to take a horizontal shot of a tall structure. You have made it look easy. Great tones. I like this.

Oh this is great. Using the fish eye (or maybe you didn't) makes it appear as if it's squatting. LOVE the sky. This is terrific.
