Is infinity really an imaginary number? Then this image takes my imagination there and back again. Well, hopefully, I'll get lost on some grand adventure along the way. Still love this one!!! |

This image reminds me of John Lanoue's work who used to be here on DPC. I still miss that guy's work! A celestial cornucopia that makes one wonder what is far beyond all those distant stars. Congrats on your ribbon!

Dishonesty isn't scooter88's style. But if that were to change, I've heard all you need to do to sleep well at night is to leave a tiny sign in the photo but be sure to make it so that it's 99% black with a font size of .01 microns.

This was my pick for blue. I can't believe that you live in a place where a 30 sec exposure can show all those stars!

I remember seeing those skies when on a safari in the Serengeti. Thanks for bringing back those wonderful memories. It's so difficult to see those kinds of skies these days with all the light pollution. |

The sky certainly looks gorgeous in this image. I feel like your subject could be sharper, but if you had a long exposure, I can see how this would be hard, especially with a person just 'standing' there waiting for the time to pass.
I think having 2 people gazing at the sky, maybe holding hands, or interacting in some way, would've helped you. |

great shot of the sky. Wish there was a bit more context of the male standing there, -- his feet on a hill, or next to a telescope, anything. |
