Pretty kitty. There seems to be a couple of blur spots but the photo is a nice calming one. |

the face blends into the rest of the picture. |

It just seems like a large ball of fur, where nothing is really distinct. |

I don't see the stopped motion here. |

I wish you had pulled back a little so we could see the kitty better. Is it a Persian? |

Very furry. Doesn't work for this topic. |

the colors and detail comes out nicely. |

Neat idea, I also love taking macro shots of my cats. This one's too busy for my liking though. |

What is this? Very busy and confusing! |

cleansing, or sleeping? i know you stopped the motion, but it doesn't read 'stopped motion' to me. |

Cute! Sorry I don't see much action may have been better if you could see the tongue. |

A cat cleaning itself is almost motionless. |

I'm basically lost in the hair -- some point of reference in the photo might help ... unless you were aiming for the confusion. |

Cleansing or napping? ;) A shot with its tongue sticking out would have helped the 'stopped motion' concept for me. |

Not a lot of motion stopped on this one. Still, an oddly interesting shot. Nice composition, but too much of the same color. |

it's a cutie! only prob is there isnt a lot of separation between the parts of the cat, so you have too look sort of hard to see what's happening |

A little blurry around the edges, would've been cool if tongue had been visible. If I had gotten close to my cat with a camera, I probably would've needed a first aid cleansing. |

Very good close up stopped motion, good focus. I also like the swirl effect created by his curved body. The only thing it needs is a little pink tongue to give it a more defined center. Good idea! |

whoa you got close to the moggy. I would have pulled back a little ... it's a bit hard to determine what's what |

nice subject but not much movement to stop here for the voters to award points. |

Pretty kitty. Does it get a lot of hair balls? lol. Great photo. |

is fluffy sleeping or actively pruning himself? the picture doesn't say it on it's own, still interesting compostion of mr. cat |

kinda looks like the cat is asleep. Not really a stopped-motion feel to it. Otherwise nice. |

This is an interesting cat photo... I would score it a little hgher in a 'cats' challenge but I'm a little lost in the 'stopped motion' challenge. I can see that the cat is licking but I don't see the tongue and, without the title of this photo, I would think that the cat is asleep. |

Kind of looks like my cat...hehe |

Seems as though I could reach out and pet him/her. Only distraction is the blur at the top right corner. But a good shot overall. |

I can tell it is a cat, but too much very similar texture and not enough focal point - like a good human portrait you need to see the eyes or the face. Seems a bit blurred in the upper right. |

The top right has blur and this picture just doesn't show much action was going on:( Maybe if you had caught the tongue in the middle of a lick that would have helped:) |
|

if only you'd caught the tongue... |
