a Posthumous ribbon in the Posthumous challenge - how cool is that! Thank you Don so much for the honor, and for the inspiration, in this challenge and in general.

...and thanks to others for the great comments and faves!

the image? just an unfocused shot of a bunch of thin dry weeds, backlighted by the late afternoon sun.

Now that I look at it again I see people dancing. Sort of stick people. They must be celebrating your success, Lev! Congrats.

And I loved this comment from 21_F.gif Melethia: " Wonderfully woven warmth!" That is so very good, isn't it? Well done for the image and for inspiring that perfect comment.

The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC itís a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. Itís our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread itís the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread itís the best way to protect your and the otherís freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild.

wow, this fills me with childlike glee for some reason. I expect to see a Wild Thing behind those weeds.
I'm giving 5 ribbons total. This is my Posthumous Yellow

rather pleasing to look at, chaotic like a weed.

I love the choreography, the costumes -- the music especially.

My daughter (Marna) saw her name in there, so you may regard it as a big success! Hehe.

I really like these tones. Nicely balanced. Something I would enjoy seeing on a large wall.

Love the segmented effect of all those overlaps. I also love it when someone shows me something I have not seen before. Thank you.

Love the complexity emerging from such simple shapes and limited colors. The sense of depth and motion evoke compounded feelings -- mixture of peace and beauty with hint of mystery and perhaps sadness. Excellent image.

Almost looks like a super magnification of fabric. Colors are flowing well.

Do not adjust your television... I love how dimensional this is. Ghostly and solid at the same time. Love the tones.
