Congratulations on your ribbon and fantastic score! The lighting is just splendid, very inspirational, impressive.
Edit to add: I would LOVE to see what kind of shots these "3" voters can pull out, since they rate this work so low... :-( What a shame. Why do they even vote in a photo challenge, since they obviously don't have a clue?

There were truly a ton of amazing efforts in this challenge. The creativity really shined, and the execution was also incredibly impressive. But I have to say this is the best of the lot. To tie the triathlon into a triptych is either close to the heart or a stroke of genius. Quite possibly both.
Beyond that your photos are captivating and ridiculously well lit. And the layout is refreshing as well. Outstanding work. Truly excellent. 10, and my favorite. |

| Yeah - this is surely the winner. Great light work, prefect layout and surely tells a story of the individual. My only nitpick is with the runner. Splashing water on the swimmer makes total sense. The water on the bicyclist looks like sweat blowing off of him and fits. I am not getting the water on the runner. Looks cool from a visual perspective - but as far as how it relates to the story I am not sure. Did someone dump a gatorade bucket on him as he was running by? Didnt impact my vote in anyway, but figuring that this image is soaring in score I thought I would go ahead and throw out the one issue I had with it. |

i LOVE triathlon, too!
great lighting, but i don't get the splash of water on the runner (though on the running leg in a competition i would usually do anything for a splash of water). |

| Just barely looked through the images and won't vote until later, but you can go ahead and have my 10 already. This is by far my pick of the challenge. Whether this actually wins blue or not, this is the picture tells the best story by far. Maybe its just because my brother ran an ironman so I am aware of the hardship, but I just think this triptych is really expressive. |

I'd say this will be a big contender for a ribbon.
The only issue I have with it is the 'runner' in the shot, and the appearance of water being thrown at him from behind.
I understand the water on the swimmer, and the sweat coming out of the biker, but having had been part of marathons, I'd say I would be rather annoyed if someone followed me with a bucket of water..
Still, you have stopped the motion of the water which gives the photo great dynamics. 9 from me. |

| This is phenomenal. The lighting, the editing, truly brilliant, although the water splash for both the running and swimming is a bit confusing. The water splash on the runner is much more impactful, but I don't understand why it's there. Front page for sure. |
