Women's half marathon that ran through our neighborhood. Total candid (uncharacteristic for me). Not planned at all and I'm lucky I got it. Wish I could use advanced editing to manage the highlights in the guy's hair.

No matter where this finishes, I'm happy about the number of comments. It would have been nice to have a few more runners to show this guy wasn't part of a race where you were supposed to dress up, but it didn't happen. I also had to crop thin because the spectators to the left (my wife being one of them) are disinterestedly chatting with each other.

Would Have been rather tricky to keep this shot as good as it is with orher runners I feel - gosh the only dressed up runner that guy must have balls .... Probably
i changed my vote 3 times on this... started with a 7- bumped to an 8 and it ended with a 9 lol im glad this placed so high... i find it hilarious! and well shot! congrats on the HM!
Not the kind of shot I would expect from you and an HM for a shot that I would not have expected to do this well. The humor factor counted for a lot. Either that, or it's just that DrAchoo Photo-Mojo! Well seen. (It got a 7 from me, BTW)
Pity you didn't capture the runner either to left or right of the bystander but the little guy's expression is a classic!
Can't help but smile along with him.
Wonder what's going through his head....
Love the expression on the boys face. I would have liked to seen a different angle on this one. It takes a second to locate the boy for me. I think my eye is drawn away from him because the angle of the tree is moving away from him.
