 I am very happy to be able to share the front page with jeger. Originally I had no idea what to enter in this challenge, and jeger and I went to Toronto's Buskerfest to shoot for Photojournalism. He decided on a slight detour to take his blue ribbon winning Nixter shot at Toronto's Union Station. While he was shooting, I noticed the strong light coming in from the overhead windows splashing down onto the floor. His son was playfully spinning around, and I was fortunate enough to catch him in the act.

We literally shot our photos minutes, and a few feet from each other.

It must be pretty freakin' awesome to be on the front page with your buddy. I gave him a nine, and I also gave you a nine. You always put out great stuff, but this in particular is a shot that makes you smile. Wonderful stuff.

This is gorgeous, perfectly judged - the light, the long shadow (cut off head noted), the carefree child and the mystery of the space itself. Brilliant.

Wonderful light and shadow. I love the way kids can entertain themselves and not be concerned what others think... it's a shame we lose that as we get older. : )
