A DPC legal variant (no cloned out feet) of an image I got accepted at 1x.com. I nearly like this one as much.

[Aug. 2nd, 2010 02:16:23 AM]

Just to clarify about the feet, since people are asking, I ran it past SC who said it would be DQ'd if I got rid of them.... Removal of a major element. I was not surprised by the decision.

Very nice capture. I would like to see it with just enough crop to remove the "real" feet, because they have high contrast that draws the eye away from the main subject (shadow).

Perfect pose for his frame. Well spotted and very nicely processed. It feels very natural and very dreamy at the same time. 10

I wonder if that would have worked better without seeing the real feet.
Fantastic concept and great execution, though. Well deserved 9.

I see that this is a reflection but I cannot understand why. Maybe a little more of the subject would have helped the image.

I don't like it that I know it's flipped. I love it that it's flipped... LOL! I just don't want to know it! I've have burned the shoes and legs of the lower one... (not voting)

Nice:) I almost want a version without the real foot, just the reflection image. Still, this is interesting.
