background more in focus than passing car, but nice.

While this shot does constitute stopped action, it is a little bland.
04/21/2002 07:07:00 AM
I am not sure what it is, but there is something flat about this picture. Wish I could express it better.
04/20/2002 12:21:00 PM
nothing special about the image, although reasonably done
04/20/2002 09:47:00 AM
I have to agree, those commutes are boring.
04/19/2002 09:01:00 PM
Good job of capturing the stopped motion.
04/19/2002 08:27:00 PM
Motion is stopped pretty well, but seems out of focus ...
04/19/2002 01:58:00 PM
Doesn't really do anything for me.
04/19/2002 11:43:00 AM
Interesing shot I might have tried cropping out the bus in the back right but since I dont know how
the bus to the far left appears If i had to guess I would say this was somplace in Japan, but what do I an american know. ;)
04/19/2002 07:12:00 AM
How'd you get all those people to stop in the road. Oh, wait, that's normal.
04/19/2002 01:30:00 AM
not very interesting, though.
04/18/2002 05:12:00 PM
The picture seems grainy.
04/18/2002 02:29:00 PM
Comes up a little flat to me. The pole (?) in the middle is also distracting. Next time, get out, cut the pole down, then take your picture. Just kidding. Probably seems that traffic moves this fast in actuality sometimes, huh?
04/18/2002 01:24:00 PM
Focus seems a bit soft. No appearent subject...
04/18/2002 12:28:00 PM
the skyscrapers and lamp post make this picture feel pretty cramped, as does the sliver of vehickle on the left. a wider angle would be nice.
04/18/2002 07:46:00 AM
I hope you were in the passenger, not the driver seat! ;o) I know this is hard to do while moving along, and that's what photoshop is for for outside of this competition, but the cut-off lamp post distracts me.
04/18/2002 01:38:00 AM
How am I supposed to know that you aren't some flagger dude getting everybody to stop on the freeway?
04/17/2002 11:21:00 PM
blurry
04/17/2002 11:12:00 PM
Colors seem slightly washed out -- might want to adjust levels in a photo editing program.
04/17/2002 06:58:00 PM
I hope you weren't driving too. ;) Color is lifeless, good 'stopped motion' though
04/17/2002 04:55:00 PM
cool. rather trippy.
04/17/2002 03:11:00 PM
Good timing, getting both the towers and the bridge in the background.
04/17/2002 03:37:00 AM
not much interest here to grab votes - shot not very sharp but is stopped dead
04/16/2002 02:51:00 PM
wow, this is perfectly captured!
04/16/2002 05:40:00 AM
It's probably the haze, but a little sharper would have been nicer.
04/15/2002 06:43:00 PM
wow that's quite a shot
04/15/2002 06:17:00 PM
It was a nice effort. I suppose that the car is "stopped motion" but the overall effect of the challenge display is lacking...
04/15/2002 06:02:00 PM
Looks like you were about as desparate as me.
04/15/2002 01:55:00 PM
Overall good picture. I think there is a focus/motion issue that is a little distracting.
04/15/2002 11:53:00 AM
What's with the graininess?
04/15/2002 11:02:00 AM
Well framed on the buildings. Rest of the picture doesn't really inspire though.
04/15/2002 09:59:00 AM
It's motion, but the colors are sort of bland.
04/15/2002 08:40:00 AM
Good idea...might could use some sharpening though
