Nice effort and thought behind this one Daniel.

A top 30 finish is still pretty darn good, and as you stated, you are happy with it.
Me? I loved it! Still puts a smile on my face when I see it.

This was made to pay tribure to Ansel Adams who invented the Zone System. Since many of his shots were done with a view camera, I placed one in background and place the product atop the film folders. So as to tease the viewer I selected a shallow dof, which bothered some people. As a matter of fact, some did not even know that it was a view camera in the background and the plate holders were a also a mystery. Some even asked me what the Zone System is.
However, I presented this more as a novelty and to overcome all the 3 ones, 7 twos, 21 threes and 29 fours, and still come out in 30th place, I am happy with the image.

Funny idea. I'm not sure about the bacgkround and the surface the product is sitting on. It looks rather haphazard and not as well thought out as the labeling. The background, although blurry, still looks a bit complicated and distracting. I keep trying to figure out what the object at the top of the frame is. The surface appears to be some sort of old metal case or box. I shouldn't be wondering about this kind of thing. The crop is a bit too severe at the right and there seems to be a slight tilt.

Very funny and creative! Need a camera or some photo equipment in the pic. Perhaps this bottle in a camera bag with other photo essentials!

Ha ha ha! Do these work for getting rid of photographer's block?
Great idea, but that out of focus thing in the background is kind of distracting.

Good concept -- I'm surprised more folks aren't doing phony products. The antiquie camera in the background is distracting, and the product is too big. Nice lighting.

This is the best idea I have seen so far and the bottle itself is beautifully crisp - pity about the background, which is too busy for me.
