Nice composition... a bit blurry though.
04/21/2002 05:51:00 PM
out of focus and too dark.
04/21/2002 04:40:00 PM
you might want to try getting a a soft white light for illumination indoors because most
camera flashes arnt good past about 9 feet. The combination of the back light from the
window and the weak flash make this a dark picture. Also some cameras adjust exposure
based on the brightest source it can see.

You clipped his hand. Also the colors seem a bit dark/saturated.
04/20/2002 07:22:00 PM
You don't look too excited that you won.
04/20/2002 04:08:00 PM
The subject was out of focus. Better composition may have helped this shot.
04/20/2002 10:45:00 AM
lightings not so good.
04/20/2002 04:49:00 AM
A little lighter perhaps or more contrast. Good jump, good shot.
04/19/2002 08:53:00 PM
What did he win?
04/19/2002 09:10:00 AM
Very low lighting. The subject's hand is also out of the frame of the picture. And any chance of a more exciting setting?
04/19/2002 08:06:00 AM
No you didn't. Bad lighting. Face is blurred.
04/19/2002 01:41:00 AM
i hope you do too.
04/18/2002 06:16:00 PM
I think your photo is to dark. He is also out of focus. I know he is jumping, but I can not see it. I feel you could have done a better job if you put some effort into it.
04/18/2002 01:33:00 PM
Too dark, especially at the base of the image.
04/18/2002 12:55:00 PM
the lighting needs a lot of work, and the camera seems slightly tilted to the right
04/18/2002 07:20:00 AM
Need more light on the subject. This would also allow for a faster shutter and better focus.
04/18/2002 01:55:00 AM
Why inside? And won what?
04/17/2002 04:50:00 PM
fairly typical. too dark.
04/17/2002 04:32:00 PM
One word: lighting!
04/17/2002 02:42:00 PM
Too dark... need to see the legs, too. Otherwise, a good idea.
04/17/2002 02:37:00 PM
It's blurry to me, and he has just about jumped out of the top of the picture.
04/17/2002 10:01:00 AM
not this challenge :) You've cut off the subject's hand, and the setting isn't exactly the most picturesque
04/16/2002 08:51:00 PM
too dark, but original
04/16/2002 11:38:00 AM
would be much better if it were lighter. how about a flash next time.
04/15/2002 07:38:00 PM
great picture! very entertaining, more so than a penthouse movie and a handful of paper tissues, and i also like the "decisive moment" which this picture shows beautifully.... i'm sure good old Bresson would have loved this......if he hadn't been dead, that is.....
04/15/2002 03:22:00 PM
nice try - did he land ok?
04/15/2002 02:06:00 PM
Billy Joe Bob is too close to the top of the frame but he is a talented acrobat. I think a little added focus and sharpness would contribute to this overall quality of this photograph.
04/15/2002 09:59:00 AM
Congratulations on the win.
04/15/2002 08:41:00 AM
the lighting isn't all that great and the motion is a bit blurry.
04/15/2002 07:00:00 AM
Nice idea, but the background doesn't help it much. The subject is out of focus as well. Maybe outside, against the sky would have been more interesting ?
04/15/2002 03:22:00 AM
better background would have made for a better impact.
