Wow - the blue eyes really sparkle - an exceptional pface and portrait. I would suggest however that you remove the books next time - especially the bright ones.
(Try to imagine what it would look like with just a dark area behind the models head.)

Fantastic clarity and detail. I think a more shallow DOF would have helped to emphasize the subject more, but nice shot nonetheless.

Ack, it's too unnatural looking. The background is kind of annoying with the books, etc.

Very nice portrait but the blue doesn't add anything - Use him again in the next challenge.

Gerat B & W portrait captured. I think I may have chosen this one to keep as a B&W; the blue is a little lost in the whole frame, or a little too "stand out". I guess that could sound contradictory, so I apologize if this is unhelpful.

As with a lot of the "eyes" in this contest, I think the intensity here detracts from the photo. A much subtler use of color would be better. Otherwise, as a casual portrait, its excellent.
