 today while walking the dogs on the firetrail i came across a pile of dung with blow flies buzzing around it .. i wouldnt'v stopped & taken this shot if i hadnt been in the september macro side challenge .. you have to get very close to your subject when shooting macro with the 100mm lens .. the smell wasnt that nice .. !!

i processed it so that the dung wasnt as gross as it really looked ..
and i put in the cobwebs that i had taken just before to add some interest to this unpleasant subject ..
this is the original for those who arent squeemish .. :)

its not something i'll be doing on a regular basis .. !! ..

Brilliant job with the processing, as well as the macro photography. It's great that you can combine the dog-walking with this.I took Tisa walking yesterday hoping to find insects, but tho she's a careful stalker herself, when it came to me trying it she was just crashing around scaring them all off.
