Hi from the Critique Club

You asked for a comment from a Critique Club member.

This is the coolest shot. You have the most amazing leading lines, you are crisp, clean and clarity is tremendous. Your HDR here shows people what it can be, not the grainy stuff we are so often confronted with. Your POV is excellent, the half empty shows us what could be, what has been. Your DOF is great, I really feel the height in this shot.

I am not a huge fan of borders, but this suits this shot to a T. I can imagine this on any postcard and selling like hotcakes.

Well done

I thought this was a great HDR shot - the details on the wheel are fabulous! But I really loved the sky - it was my favorite part. Congrats on 10th place and your new PB!

I gave this a 10 ... I think it's one of the few where the HDR enhances a very interesting image

This is in fact interesting. As if you had part of the wheel cloned out. I think the large border distracts.

Good, sharp detail and even exposure. Unnatural and underexposed sky.

A rarely photographed view of a ferris wheel. Pin sharp, and a great angle. the wide border seems to help the comp as well. One of my faves. In fact it is going in my faves list.

very clear, the sky makes the photo super dramatic and really brings out the focus object.

crop seems too tight on the top. other then that, very cool pic

Another fantastic HDR photo. Sky blue is a bit too dark,, I would've lightened that up after the HDR processing. And crop is a bit too tight on the left. Otherwise 7/10

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

Great dramatic composition. Like the use of HDR without overdoing it. NO vote left as a I know who's it is (would have been 8)
