This is another mission church named San Antonio, but this one is in the town of San Antonio, New Mexico. The first mission on this site was built in the early 1600's, and was destroyed in the 1680 Pueblo revolt. A church was rebuilt in the 1800's, but it too was destroyed, perhaps by an earthquake but that is debated, in 1906. This current version was built in 1930.

And to Fiona, the image actually is centered (I measured when fixing the distortion), but there is a slight counter-clockwise rotation (a few pixels) that throws things off. I took this with my 10mm, so there was a lot of vertical distortion that I had to take out; then nothing was perfect. But being too lazy to put camera on tripod and measure the planes perfectly, I didn't really expect perfect, LOL!

I love the b&w! My only suggestion is that this doesnt seem quite centered..

Great detail on this mission - wonderfully processed.

Your choice of a close in view works really well here, putting just the right emphasis on the door details and wall texture. Have to agree that processing is excellent.

I was about to say "did you come to Texas and not tell me?" LOL - this is wonderfully edited.

So textural and gritty...like I can reach out and touch it!

This almost looks like a model to me and I'm not altogether sure why.
Look graet though with all those wonderful moody textures
