 done for the june - where i live side challenge

we go to a local camera shop called Camera House in macarthur square shopping centre and today i wanted to try the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS lens .. this pic is one of the shots i took with it .. i didnt buy it ..

it's looking at the lift near the camera shop .. the lift is transparent .. i was taking photographs when the lift was going up and the kid had noticed me ... then the lift came down again and there i was still taking photographs .. i waved as it passed by and he gave me a big smile ..

quite dark in the shopping centre so camera settings to get the correct exposure .. aperture wide open, shutter as slow as possible without getting blur .. so i had to increase the iso to compensate for the poor lighting

after laurie's L1 comment .. we're not allowed to take pics in our mall either .. !!!!!

You just know how to take an interesting picture wherever you are - and of course process it wonderfully. I love how that little kid was looking right at you.

The boy makes the pic more interesting for sure. I was looking at that lens too as an upgrade from my 28-135. I borrowed one and found I missed the extra reach and the sharpness wasn't that much better. Plus it's an f/4

This is bitchin' way cool, Roz!! Love that the kid caught you. Love the mismash of squares and rectangles everywhere and the rich color. Really fun shot!! (And why didn't you buy the lens?)

So cool! I would love to try this but the nearest mall with a glass elevator doesn't allow photography inside. :( I love this little glimpse into total stranger's lives. :)
