A "How to" on this one would be a learning experience. As I look I see the photo has been validated which tells me somebody else would like to know "How to" as well.
Always take the validation requests as a compliment.

Looks kinda fake, but hey, it's been validated. It'll be interesting to see how you did this one to achieve the strange look of the baseball.

wow, pretty neat shot! I would have thought it was photoshopped - great catch (pardon the pun)!

WOW! The darkness of the glove, crisp focus on the ball, and background sky is incredible. This shot is very surreal looking. If you didn't do much editing to this shot, I bow down to your skills!

I see it says validated, I would ask why fill flash is not on the glove also, if fill flash is lighening the ball

Very nice capture :) The cloud composition is perfect around the ball

Really nice shot. I think it would be better with more light on the glove, but that would be pretty hard to accomplish in this setting. Still, I like the photo as it is. Good job.

This is really really cool. I wish I could see more detail on the glove, but that's minor. Also, wish the glove was a bit less in the centre, but that's minor. Good luck - 9

neat photo, I will be interested to hear how you got the bottom of the ball so bright.
Very dramatic.

Good job, framing the ball in the clouds like that.

Technically, the player (or at least their hand) is in the photo. It is a very nice shot none the less. I like how you have captured the ball in the clearing of the clouds.
