 I was looking online for interesting places to go near my home, and found out about this little church I never knew of that is only about 5 miles away from me. I was thrilled to find it and took lots of images, but when I went to leave my car battery was DEAD! Luckily my boyfriend Scott was home so he came and rescued me :-) I have to buy a new battery tonight...

I've posted several versions; this one is a three exposure HDRI.

HISTORY:
Doing some research, I discovered that every Catholic church in Socorro County, except the San Miguel Mission in the town of Socorro (posted earlier in this portfolio), was built by the people that lived in the towns rather than by the church itself. These are referred to as mission churches, and are scattered all up and down the Rio Grande, the big river that runs north and south in the center of the state of New Mexico. Many of them are still standing today, such as this one.

You wide angle is really great on these shots of missions! I'd say you have hdr down!

MAN OH MAN .. this is amazing .. your intense and dramatic skies are blowing me away .. so textured and solid looking .. also i wonder if i keep looking they'll appear to be moving .. not a lot, just enough for me to wonder if i'm imagining it ..
