This is the shaving head of my Philishave. I placed it on a light box (with the cutters removed to let more light through) with blue cellophane cut to the shape of the head. I placed a gold reflector about 4 inches above it to add some subtle light and colour to the silver shields.
Processing consisted of curves, levels, contrast, colour balance and saturation adjustments. I burned the highlights just a little to tone them down. A slight crop was also used and cloned out a stray hair and some dust spots.

Norelco heads....Who'd a thunk. Triple heads to give a close shave. Never would have thought of that at all and yet so obvious. This is very finely shot and I like the colors and the details very much, particularly the blue in with the gold. Makes and interesting image and abstract. Excellent.

I like the lighting here. Also very clear and in good sharp focus.

Good idea, love the color. You might consider rotating the shot a bit more to the left for a stronger angle on the lower two blades- they almost line up horizontally.

Composition, color pallete, and detail are excellent.

Are you blind!

I love this shot. Just put a philips logo on the bottom and put it in a mag. (10)

Nice. But I would have had one of them closer than the two others. I'd put it in the lower left corner, focus on it and leave the two others, still on an angle, but out of focus in the back. Just a suggestion.

You have an extremely graphic image - presented wth an artists' touch. The composition is PERFECT! The colors really sing! Focus could not be handled any better - with just a slight fall off towards the upper set of blades.

If there is any complaint I have it's with an external object - the border. If you must have one, pick a color that does nbot demand attention. The only "white" area in you image is in the border. I would ask, do you really need the border at all?
Having said all that.. I expect you are headed for the land of ribbons.

Nice use of DOF and creative lighting. Excellent details. The two small spots on the lower left "blade" (to the right of the blue lighting) should have been cloned out.
