I was in the car with my husband and saw the perfect cresent moon..there was a street light in the way..but I snapped it anyway. It left this interesting pattern with bright white light and the moon's light all together. i thought made good for multiple light sources. i know it's fuzzy but I don't have the greatest camera in the world to take photos while going 45 miles an hour over bumps either.

THe picture is grainy more so cuz the car was moving at 35 miles per hour and we hit a bump. But it was all I really had for multiple light sources..As I am more of an artist of 3 dimensional art..this isn't really my forte. But I tried. I have plenty more pictures and artwork at my address below..please take a looksy. You may like what you see there.

Beautiful and moody. I love the grainy soft-focus. You will likely suffer in the voting for this but good for you for making the choice. The subtle gradiation in tone from light to dark is so effective. One of my top picks. Good luck!

bit fuzzy

It's a pity that there is so much noise in this shot. Less noise and a little more contrast would have made this a very interesting shot.

oh, lot's of noise. download the freeware version of neatimage, it'll minimise the grainy pixellated effects you've got. it's a pity because the spread of light in the lower corner is quite dramatic.

A little grainy for my liking, but interesting play with the light.

Great idea, but I would have like it to come out a little less grainy.

Little bit of grain there.

The moon is too blurry and there is too much noise overall. I like the black-white gradient and concept, though. Good attempt.

I really like the simplicity of this and the way that streetlight seems to be lighting the moon! Also like the amount of darkness on the left. Glad you didn't crop it - seems to need that much to balance the strong bright light at bottom right.

Great idea.
In my useless opinion, it doesn't quite work.
Good luck though
