I remember always hearing about how mothers would tell their young boys not to masterbate, because it would make them go blind.

This was taken in my living room (second location of the series), with a lamp propped up on some boxes aimed at me, and with a wide angle lens.

quite a dark little photo,a slight sadistic feel about it,and the shock value is quite high-anz

This certainly fits the challenge, and boy are you brave to submit it. I bet you're getting all sorts of comments this week. Great idea, wish there was a bit more contrast though and that the person's foot was not cut off. I'm also distracted by the square shadow in the lower left.

Composition 0, theme 0, colours 0, appeal 0, subject 0 ... darn, no 0 on the voting scale. Ah well, 1 it is.

Inappropriate, but I guess everyone has their right to express themself.

Daring...

My mom always told me to turn on the light when I watched TV, but I don't think it was the same thing. I'm sure you're hearing it about this picture so I'll spare you the morality BS and appropriateness for the site. Suffice it to say I'll agree with that to some extent. Good luck. Stay away from the broken mirrors. - Inspzil

I kinda like this one

Very well composed and posed, and a very good interpretation of the challenge. I might possibly have preferred it with a TINY amount more contrast, although it's pretty much spot on already. Very impressive.

Yup. Out there. Going for the reaction.

I was wondering if someone would do this. If it were true every single man, and perhaps woman, in the world would be blind. Good use of b/w.

2 days later and I am still laughing... lol

sigh - I have a problem with pictures that won't load 10 for now. I'll come back tomorrow

lighting is a bit stale... focus is soft... miscellaneous objects spread about drawing attention away from the subject... subject matter seems forced. bamaster (6)

I guess I'd have to say it took some balls (literally) to take this shot...!
