I think this would work better i fthe vertical line weren't so crooked, I like the cat's silhouette. |

As a silhouette of a cat, I would prefer it if the cat were more of a focal point in the shot. As it is, he occupies a small part of the photo. |

Lovely silhouette and I like that dark space on the left. B&W works great for this shot. It would be nice if the cat were a bit more in focus. |

The left side of the image is too dark. Maybe a different crop? The image also seems soft/blurry and tilted. |

I have tried many minutes to find something positive to say about this. In the end, what I like best is the cat's silhouette. But beware. Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. |

Apologies but I have given you a 1 and now must justify that choice. I normally only give out 1s for images that look 'un-crafted'; i.e. images which appear to have been taken with little attention or care. I think making it monochrome compounds this, as you run a risk of looking as if you were trying to confer a more 'arty' look for something which is actually not deserving of such treatment. Perhaps I misjudge and this is actually a bid for the brown....? |

I would have scored this higher had it been cropped at the windows edge, straightened and just a little bit sharper. |

sorry, this shot does not appeal to me, too much silhouttes that do not really add to the image giving a very flat feel to the overall image instead. |

I like the profile against the horizontal lines of the blinds. Would have been even better if the whole image was shifted to the left to have less negative space. |

I had to chuckle when I saw this - you've captured such regal arrogance perfectly in Charles's pose. I love it. I don't care for the soft focus, though, and I'm not quite sure about the composition... I think I like how bold and striking it is though. It really catches your attention. And the black and white is perfect. Really, really cool shot. 7 |

I like the BW and the tilt... but I wish it were either tilted more or straightened. This shallow of a tilt almost looks like an accident instead of a statement.

I like the idea of a cat's silhouette at a window, and i like your choice for the B&W too. I just think that this shot is OOF and this black part at the left kills it. I'm sorry if i was rude. Good luck. |

He chose his moments carefully, in that way that only one of his kind could, and sat there in silhouette, knowing that his regal countenance would stand above all else. Knowing that his regality was unquestioned. Knowing that his rule was unmatched.
In the glow, he sat, and held his head up high, and looked forward to the dinner of salmon that would be his right. King of the household, prince of the feline realm, Master of his domain. |

cats love windows! I always wonder what is going through their minds. Do they wish there were outside? Are they looking for prey? Looking for excitement from their boring lives of sleeping and eating? Cat equivalent of TV? anyway, I like the silhouette and the minimal tones. would work well in a high contrast challenge. |
