I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1116 images, I gave 29 of them a 9. Your image was one of those 29.
I actually gave this an 8 originally, but when i came to comment, decided it was better than a lot of the 8's I was commenting on. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it is to produce a macro shot of this quality, so well defind. He even has a little beard! Fantastic shot.

| An amazing photo! I love dragonflies. I think their faces are so animated, and I also know that they only let one get so close before flitting off to another place to land. I'm guessing this was taken with a telephoto lens and a tripod? Very well done! 10 |
