| This was one of my 10s. Truly a fine, fine portrait - his character shines through, and that has a lot to do with how you saw him, not just how the camera saw him. |

| This is a lovely portrait in every way that matters. I am particularly taken by the excellent use of DOF to bring the face up from the neck, the clothes, and even the ears. There's a sense of abstracting or isolating the face/expression as if he is in the process of working free of his body and becoming wholly spirit at the end. Well done :-) |

| This is a great character portrait. I really love images like this one and I shoot a lot of them myself. The image tells me things about your subject and also makes me want to know more. This type of work is so much more powerful than a typical studio portrait... nice job :) |
