Picture of a lovely tree stumbled upon in a walk in Hyde Park.

post editting includes crop top and bottom slightly blurred the back ground to give centre subject a bit more prominence, and cloned out 1) small boy and 2) half naked couple. it now looks too editted, but am knackered and want to go to bed so couldn't do any more.

Tree??? I thought it was the Queen Mum's new hat!

Interesting shot, spoilt by the odd uneven border which is only at the top and bottom. Tree could do with more sharpness, although some of it is affected by too much! The job of blurring your background is a little clumsy in places, it would be much nicer to have seen this achieved with dof, although presumably you don't have the kit available for this.

Not bad, but the top and bottom borders are a major distraction.

I like the strange depth of field here - well, perhaps not strange, but kind of antique, if you follow me. Love the almost model-like sense of detail and tidyness: makes it look so small. Aided by that film-like border, this has a real subtletly that I fear will be lost on the 10 second voters. Not sure that I wouldn't personally have tried to avoid the blown-out sky, either with some kind of graduated filter or framing the subject against a solid background of other trees. But it's lovely work as it is. 8

Beautiful colors but what I like most about this is the softness you gave the photo. It's very nice.

the bright white sky takes away from it a little, but it's an excellent shot

the odd border makes it look like a still frame from a movie and maakes the whole scene appear to move - effective - 7

I think a square crop would have worked on this photo.

the tree stands out almost too much for my tastes, but an ethereal result.
