Obviously, I made up one side of my face, but left the other side natural. I even went as far as to do my hair differently & wear a jacket on one side, but the final picture looked way over-done, so I decided that the eyes were the most striking difference. I cropped the very large picture & adjusted the hue/saturation.
I feel that man-made beauty is fine, as long as people truly recognize their natural beauty. Girls are constantly stressing over make-up, hair, etc. Sometimes it's just not important. I think most women and even some men can completely relate to this.

I would have liked to see this shot in color. I think it might have made the make-up pop more. I would have liked there to be more contrast, but I like the cropping and composition a lot.

Good picture. I don't see how the off center cropping adds anything to it though.

The eyes have it - a real advertizement for makeup. Composition very effective - exposure seems right on. I'm not fond of the yellowish tinge.

This is a fun idea, but I don't really like the color.

Creative idea, but needs more contrast with the background, and sharpness. I think a razor sharp image would pick up the detail in eyelashes to further emphasize your point.

OK but why the green tone?

My eye is drawn to this shot over and over. The color is unique and the crop is super. I like this one. Good luck. She (you) are just as pretty with without eye makeup. Nice entry.

Good idea and composition, not too sure about the tint though. I would like to see this in color.

Didn't really get it at first glance till I stared really hard at it and knew what you were going at. Hwr I think I would have been better in full colour? 6.

Great idea! Why not in color, though? I think color would have made the difference more striking. You'll probably get some complaints about the unusual composition, but I like it.

Nice idea, but the effect is a bit too subtle for my tastes.

I honestly can't see the opposite in this photo -- is the girl "natural" or "man-made"? Are you contrasting her with the wall behind her? It's unclear how this fits the theme.

Took a while to get this one...hard to tell at first what the point is. I think this would have much of a bigger impact on the viewer if it were in color, so that the eyes stand out more. Not a big fan of the framing, but shot is unique and a good idea.
