Untouched photo. I thought this would be a good idea. It was taken indoors with a micro-machine.

I see no connection to the challenge. Fingers and toy are out of focus -- in fact, I didn't realize there was a toy for quite some time. Not much to engage in this picture. 1

proportion was last weeks challenge?
05/11/2004 10:01:37 PM
Well when I first saw this I was gonna say gotta hate when your fingers get in the photo. Then I noticed you were hoding up a small jet. Photo is a bit dark and blurry. I also do not see the rust in it.

What?
05/11/2004 06:03:07 PM
clever idea
05/11/2004 04:56:22 PM
Badly pixelated, poor light , the fingers - why?!! Not a touch of rust in sight hence a 1. Sorry.
05/11/2004 04:56:02 PM
Looked more like a study in perspective. Poor clarity.
05/11/2004 03:50:31 PM
The hand and little fighter jet are out of focus here. Granted that might be a 'time to setup the image' factor more then anything else, but it would have popped out at me a little better to see 'everything' focused in for me.

The area itself is a little dark as well.

Is this proportion, or rusted? Image looks like in either reduction or expansion it gained some jaggies.
05/10/2004 08:45:29 PM
sorry to say so ... but the quality of this image is not very good ... the model plane you are holding is so out of focus that it is almost impossible to recognize ... and what has it got to do with rust ?
05/10/2004 07:30:00 PM
if you're trying to say that you're photography skills are a little rusty, then you get big points!
05/10/2004 04:35:52 PM
Where is the rust? >:( The little model and fingers in the foreground are out of focus. The exposure is too dark- the bright white horizontal line seems to be throwing off your light meter.
05/10/2004 01:52:59 PM
Rust? you have even left your fingers in the picture !!
05/10/2004 11:07:31 AM
Was this supposed to be a "Proportion" shot? Very chunky looking and not rusted.
05/09/2004 03:33:42 PM
Was this a submittal for proportion?
05/09/2004 03:00:26 PM
I cant wait to see your opposite entry. It should prove quite rusty
05/09/2004 01:15:41 PM
Is this intended to be an entry in last week's proportion contest, instead of "Rust"?

Um, I don't think you were supposed to have your camera phone in that hangar...
05/08/2004 10:03:36 AM
After looking hard for a moment, I noticed that the fingers are holding something that I think is a small toy jet, which I assume is rusted (to fit the challenge). You need some lighting or a flash. I would try to come up with some other way to hold the toy, the fingers really take away from the shot. I would also try cropping some of the background out, it seems pretty busy.
05/08/2004 07:06:26 AM
Where's the rust? The fingers are distracting and blurred.
05/07/2004 10:34:22 PM
The small jet being held is almost too out of focus to recognize. P.S. I don't see any rust.

Not sure I get the relationship to the challenge, or why the the fingers are in the way...?
05/07/2004 02:50:04 PM
uhh. your fingers are in the picture.
05/07/2004 01:24:46 PM
Foreground blurred and under exposed. Poor image quality and has nothing to do with rusted. Would have been better suited to the proportion challenge.

lol wrong challenge???
05/06/2004 11:43:38 PM
Can't see what is happening in this photo.
05/06/2004 03:54:52 PM
Tell me. Is there anything rusted? Sorry, I give you a 3.
05/06/2004 03:19:47 PM
This seems to be in the wrong contest? Was this supposed to be in proportion?
05/06/2004 02:26:58 PM
hmm wtf ???
05/06/2004 12:41:00 PM
I don't see the "rusted" part of this - it looks like a proportion photo. That said, I think the DOF is off, I can't quite make out the foreground model plane so the impact is lost. The pixelation on the fingers is also very distracting. An interesting concept that could have been better executed.
05/06/2004 09:58:35 AM
no rust here
05/06/2004 03:34:44 AM
I'm not sure I can see how this fits the challenge. Perhaps more focus and lighting would help us to see the aim of the image a little better.
05/06/2004 12:35:27 AM
oopss...wrong submission....
05/05/2004 09:34:00 PM
would have been great in proportion challenge but i didn't see how the rust theme was applicable. the army does love the zoomies though. thanks for the pic
05/05/2004 05:18:41 PM
Cute but I don't see rust......?
05/05/2004 04:13:54 PM
pic is too small, where's the rust? the fingers in the foreground are too out of focus to see if there is any rust there
05/05/2004 01:25:34 PM
Proportion photo? At least I don't see rust in this one.
05/05/2004 09:56:58 AM
where is the rust?
05/05/2004 06:32:35 AM
Think you meant for this to be in proportions...not rusted.
05/05/2004 01:51:25 AM
must be in proportion!
05/05/2004 01:19:28 AM
Rust?
