I think this should have scored a bit higher as well. There's a lot to like: the background works perfectly with her outfit, love the pastels, skin tones are good, pose and eye contact good as well. My only suggestions for slight improvement would be a teeny more saturation & sharpness, and maybe a tighter crop to get that angelic little face closer to the viewer. Good luck with your future entries!

| Thanks for the comments! I thought it would have scored higher in the 5s, but of course I'm biased :) I hope people don't still vote down baby pictures, I plan on flooding this place with cute baby pictures!! Muahahah! |

| I agree that this should have scored better as well. I do think a touch more contrast would help though. I really like the pastel colors! |

| I think that there needs to be more use of shallow dof in this, I find the background - especially the shadowy bits on the left - quite distracting. |
