Shoot on my kitchen table with three lights one on top and two from the sides. This is not very easy the Ice Hearts melts very fast and they move around when they melt making it difficult to shoot them.
All adjustment are done in PS3 levels and curves and some color adjustment.Crop and frame

What a great idea....I may try to mimic you....I look for a unique picture for our annual American Heart Run and Walk fundraiser...and this may be the idea for this year....
Lovely sharp details, lovely texture within the ice and nice reflections from the ice and the melt-water. Great bokeh in that background too. All good.
This could use a run through Neat Image or similar. Very well executed otherwise. I like the centered square crop choice, but I don't like the beveled border. I've got a personal angst against beveling, but I'm not voting, so it won't hurt your score from me.
