Day 23 of 30 Flowers
A huge field of Goldenrod with one solitary Monarch going from plant to plant under a drowsy midday sun.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, dodged butterfly, destaurated a few butterfly spots, colored some of butterfly more orange, shifted yellow-greens to greener, burnt goldenrod (I blew out my yellows!), cloned out a branch, increased contrast, added border, resized, sharpened. |

| We have goldenrod here in Quebec but they look different from this one. Still, this is an incredible shot, the composition is perfect and I really like that dark green BG. I enjoy your images so much! This is another favorite! |

| from the thumbnail I thought, she needs to lighten this exposure, then I see it and WOW!! the butterfly is awesome and the lighting is a perfect fit for the image :) |
