a reflector on the left side night have brought more light onto the left side of the butterfly... but when you catch a nice butterfly shot who has time for reflectors! hehe a really nice image :) |

This candid pose is my favorite kind of butterfly shot (as opposed to the 'dead butterfly' pose showing just the open wings. They really are magnificent creatures. This shot illustrates it. |

How lucky you are, such a beautiful flower and as a bonus the butterfly. And you captured both so well. Great focus and wonderful bokeh!
Btw, the flower is a "purpletop" (Verbena bonariensis)
edit - just saw, the flower name was already mentioned.
