Wanted to play on the old slogan for guinness - 'guinness is good for you' and 'guinness gives you strength'. Both slogans are probably totally rubbish and I myself am not a fan of the black stuff.

Anyway, really missed not having a seperate flash for this one. So excuse the shadow/reflections. Added noise to make it look more 'under ground' and to hide some of the flash stuff.

very grainey

Nice idea, appears to have a lot of noise to replicate grain, which works well in the foreground not so well on the face.

Needs more focus and maybe a different angle.

The graininess doesn’t quite do it form me.

Noise is really bad in this image. Wish I could offer a good solution, but being new at this myself I'm not too sure what the solution is.

Nice effect, but I think you needed the can to be more obviously crumpled.

Cool concept, but photo is a bit noisy ... low light?

well composed, nice tones, I think that the grain effect works quite well too, reminds me of the actual old Guinness adverts (UK) from the television with the old Italian man who is the champion swimmer. Good luck with the challenge.

it gave her something . . .

I like her expression and the crunched can. I really don't like the title though.

even though it's sidestepping the theme a bit, this works well. Nice DOF.
