Nice shot; I like the way the shadow adds to the composition.

I think it should have been brighter. And maybe ammunition in it would help.

You know, I almost missed this one. I like the reflection. It's very US centric, but if you have an understanding of US law, then the subtile reflection of the flag in the revolver barrel is a very powerful message. Meets the challenge, has interesting elements photographically...8. One of my highest of the challenge. I'd suggest seeing if you can market and sell this image. Its a political hot potato, but that does not lessen the artistic quality. Excellent shot. :)

I find the shadows distracting and the gun is a little dark hiding some of the detail
sorry just noticed you are trying to reflect the flag in the gun maybe you need more light on the flag and a darker background. I'll adjust your score up, nice job

The lighting on this shot seems dark to me....it loses detail. Not really a composition that holds my interest, but I think it does meet the challenge.

Beautiful reflection in the silver. I would've liked to see the entire pistol in sharper focus though.

It's not about power but strength. Another idea (even about power)?

You have a nice photograph here. It could use some adjustment to Levels, mainly the midtones which will really bring out the reflection of the flag. USM could make it quite a bit sharper also.

The shadow is not in an interesting direction.

A little flat for me...

I see the flag reflection. Too bad that wasn't stronger. I think it would of been had your light been a bit better. The light and the soft focus are the weakest parts of this shot to me. Not a bad entry, and it really says 'strong'!! Good luck in the challenge.

Match pistol. I used to shoot rifles competitively. I was exepecting to see a ton of firearms in this challenge, but not so many. I guess there is some courage in putting up a possibly controversial subject. The only technical comment is that I'd like to see a softer, more even shadow: it draws attention away from the subject. The crop is a little tight too.

I would had iluminated more the steel to make it shine more.
