I like it! The spokes with highlights at the hub draw my attention right to that area. I think this would be even better with a bit of steam in the image.

Nice mysterious take on the challenge. I'm pleased you left something to the imagination in this image. Good one!

very nice attempt. very artistic lines and subtle coloring. shadows seem a bit strong. My eyes seen to strain to make out the right 2/3rds of the shot.

It is interesting... but... you can barely see the wheels...and it's unbalanced...
but i congratulate you on the attempt to try something else... something more complicated

too dark to make out much detail of the wheels.

I found some elements to dark and some to bright.
Good Luck :-)

nice capture of a locomotive wheel, except that partial shadow would have been better without

Train wheels, but the shadows make the wheels blend in to much. 5

Too low-key with too little detail for me.

Too dark! Composition would be great without the ground on left corner down. A lot of strenght in this picture :) 5

It's too dark to see most of the wheel! I think a little more light to add some detail to the shadows would help.

a bit too dark. the emphasis is on the crank arm, not the wheel (in my opinion)
