It's a nnice interpretation of the challenge, but the snow is just a featureless white blob. I think you needed to get the exposure a bit darker to get some detail into the snow.

Too overexposed. I can only guess that the lake is frozen?

I do not care for the blue tint, but it was a good idea.

A lot of glare on the ice!

Make sure the subject you are taking photo of is evenly lit with the background. In this case you have total Sun burnout behind the kayaks.Good idea but poorly executed. 3

Tough shot shooting across about four stops, and this is so blown out that I can only assume that the lake is frozen, but I can't see it. If only you could use advanced editing, sigh.

The snow is a bit overexposed, but it's a tricky shot with the white snow and shadows.

Picture meets the challenge title however the picture is overexposed IMO A black and White from a different angle might have been very effective here.

Good Idea, but it's overexposed. Next time try taking a few shots with different exposure compensation if your camera has it.

You are seting up a totaly impossible situation. Shooting at shadowed subject with bright sunset reflecting on ice and snow in the bacground, that just cant give good results, main subject underexposed while background is burned out. Either you have to shoot this from a nother point of view or wait till the sun shines on the canoes

This could have been decent photo, there is just way too much blowout to give it more than 4.

guess all that blow out is snow or a frozen lake, eh?
