This really is gorgeous. The lighting is just right, and I love the hint of highlight on the fence rail. Good detail in hat and mane. The dust adds a magical touch too.

Strange but when I looked at this home with a calibrated monitor, I didn't the light reflecting off the top of the pipes in the fence. Here at work too, I see more contrast between subject and background. Anyways, congrats on your blue and PB!

I am very surprised that this took the blue and got a 7.1 with the image being so dark. Don't get me wrong the items in the picture are good but I think it's way too dark.

Sweet light! Lovely shot, too. I'm voting on my laptop which is very telling at the lighter end of things - there's a wee bit too much dodging, it appears, on the horse's mouth and chest, and perhaps just a bit on the sand where the shadow is. Not going to affect my vote (I do like this alot) because I doubt it's visible on most monitors. Just passing along in case you wish to print or display larger.
