A small pink and white flower plucked from the yard and stuck into the lace curtain in the back window. Shot with the 100mm propped on a book and set to timer. I can't hold a camera still enough for macros by hand.

Processing - spot healing brush in two spots to remove cat hair (which really shows up WELL when shooting macro!), levels to brighten a bit, selective color to remove some of the yellows, resize and sharpen.

I like the softness of this image. The lighting and dof really add to the delicateness of the flower.

I like the one with overlay but this one much better. The flower seems so soft and delicate and the overlay just seems to take away from it, IMO. The texture created by the lace curtain gives the flower a nice background.

I think I like this one best for the crispness of the fine detail and also the DOF..... I always love looking at your images Deb..... Thanks heaps dear friend.....

Great colors and focus. This is a really, really nice shot! It reminds me of a fallopian tube. (Which you would have probably rathered me not share)

I really love this one...very delicate and dreamy. Beautiful, simple, elegant, and natural.

Deb!!! Wow! This is SO pretty! A sea of soft dreamy pink with beautiful daisy petals poking out of the softness. And such little processing. I'm so jealous. I can never get flower shots to look like this.

Think i prefer this one ..the pedals showing the striations of pink is great and light reflexing on a couple in the center is good.
Composition wise i like how u placed the flower and also in the frame is nice. Jmo mind ya but might prefer all of the pedals in the frame..
You have a nice lens to work with:)

Although pink is not a favorite color, I prefer this shot as it is much cleaner.

Think I prefer this one Deb. Colours blend into the background nicely and give a peaceful and warm feeling to the shot. Like the border on this better too!!

So PRETTY! I liked the other one too, but choose this because the frame on the other was a 'bit' much for me.

SO GLAD you're here - GRIN! I LOVE my Canon 100mm and will also probably use it this month mostly - it ROCKS (as do you!)

I think I prefer this version. Nice subtle color. Very nice detail and DOF, the pattern behind the flower is pleasing. Wish the upper petals werent cropped (you could go through and clone out the petals that are cut). I need to get me one of these lenses. Nice work Deb.
