I was amazed when I saw the original because of the green in her eyes. Normally, it isn't there and I didn't add it. Buffy is a very sweet dog and this is an unusual expression for her. She really was perturbed when she saw me come to her with the camera and scarf.

The eyes AREN'T natural. It's the pet equivalent of red eye. Spooky!

I think this is quite a nice shot actually. The eyes are quite unusual, guess people thought they weren't natural.

I think a portrait setup here would have set this up nicer, at least to me. And maybe a tighter crop. Seems a little out of focus but since I haven't calibrated nor recalibrate my monitor, nor had my eyeglasses upgraded for a long time, I might be wrong about that. Nice looking dog!

A little harsh on the flash. It enhances the angry look, I think, but full frontal flash usually comes off with an unflattering look.

The scarf is a cute idea, but the green pupils are tough to look at. If you did that on purpose I'm not sure it's the most flattering look for the dog; if you didn't do it on purpose I recommend bouncing your flash or diffusing it, and if you still get green pupils desaturate them to a greyer color and then burn them to look realistic.

He looks like he's possesed because of the eyes!! The light is not my favorite, I think not using a frontal flash would have been a lot better.

Amazing how the eyes match the color of the scarf! Nice textures

I'm assuming since this is advanced editing that you meant for the eyes to be green, but I thing the scarf is the right amount color and you should have left puppy natural.

The high contrast and green eyes are a bit much for my taste. I think the black background is a good idea, but the light looks harsh. It's a cute dog though ... love those ears!

The eyes should not match the green scarf. Freaky.
