Well here is day 3 of the Feb SP and overlay side challenges. This one took a while and i am still not sure I was finished but I have to draw the line. Crystal thinks I went too far and she may be right.

3 photos, 5 overlayed textures, over 3 hours editing

That's three hours well-spent. This is a superb end-product.

I think I'll agree with Crystal here... the texture on the door and hands looks like it went a little too far, but this is still an awesome, emotional composition. Great work again.

Holy lots of time in editing! But it paid off, very cool looking shot.

The symbolism you have managed to portray here is quite startling. You have successfully thrown it in the viewer's face and then sat back for a reaction. Some may say that this is too literal, but I disagree... The tones and composition suggest that a deep commitment to the structure represented. I applaud your efforts.

It's cool. It didn't hit me as much as day 1 and 2. In my humble opinion, if you hadn't made eye contact with the lens, it might have had more impact for me. But otherwise, well put together.

It's great stuff, for sure. I just worry you're spending too much time on these, and you'll go mad and end up in a straight jacket someday. ;-Þ

I like the combination of different photos with several textures. Makes for an intense final image. Great job!

Whoa! This is like entering an entirely different universe! I almost feel as if it is the guy, leaning on the door, who keeps it from opening and that the guy holding the door knob really wants to free the other. I really like the editing you've done and it is very powerful in conveying a sense of madness - makes me a bit uncomfortable...
