Well here is day 3 of the Feb SP and overlay side challenges. This one took a while and i am still not sure I was finished but I have to draw the line. Crystal thinks I went too far and she may be right.
3 photos, 5 overlayed textures, over 3 hours editing
I think I'll agree with Crystal here... the texture on the door and hands looks like it went a little too far, but this is still an awesome, emotional composition. Great work again.
The symbolism you have managed to portray here is quite startling. You have successfully thrown it in the viewer's face and then sat back for a reaction. Some may say that this is too literal, but I disagree... The tones and composition suggest that a deep commitment to the structure represented. I applaud your efforts.
It's cool. It didn't hit me as much as day 1 and 2. In my humble opinion, if you hadn't made eye contact with the lens, it might have had more impact for me. But otherwise, well put together.
its a great image!it may be more convincing tho if your hair was less clean looking and had a more messed-up(crazy)look! but your work on this is great...
Whoa! This is like entering an entirely different universe! I almost feel as if it is the guy, leaning on the door, who keeps it from opening and that the guy holding the door knob really wants to free the other. I really like the editing you've done and it is very powerful in conveying a sense of madness - makes me a bit uncomfortable...
your work is exceptional ..
your photographs, your processing and your amazing imaginative approach .. love that you're actually saying something ... this is so much better than brilliant .. :)
3 hours of processing?! and i thought my 7 minutes was overdoing it. Phew, kudos to you and your hard work. But it definatly pays off, this is an awesome shot!
L()L this is great, a very nice piece of art you crated here. I think all of the elements work nicely together giving it a surreal affect. Very nice job.
