Simplicity is the sign of a genius ;-))

I like the gradient of color casting on the wire. I would be surprized if it was done intentionally but the result is superb.

Great picture! I'd love to see to what this fuse is attached.

I like this. It put the Mission Impossible theme music into my head.

nice composition, biut I would rather have seen the fuse already lit, drawing the eye toward the pending explosion

Hooray! Another idea that doesn't rely on faces expressing surprise, anger, shock, terror... this is a creative entry and I love the geometric composition - the blue semi-circle dissected by that strong horizontal line and then the asymmetrical match and flame. Wonderful!

Challenge met. Good idea putting the blue spot at the edge of the screen to simulate and explosion.

Creative take on the challenge. I've seen a background like that in the "Letting Go" challenge, maybe you're the same person. Great photo. 10

Good luck...

Technically impressive, but I don't agree that this fulfills the criteria of the challenge. (was this a fire entry) :P

Very different approach/interpretation. These kind of creative twists already gain extra points from me. And a good image as well, although not a big WOW factor.

Ok, really taken by this one. It has the off screen expectation perfectly. Technique is flawless, and that blue haze to the left is very effective. Truly excellent shot. 10.
