Hey, I can turn my head sideways. This is a great shot. Rcrawford 7

Good color and composition, but in my opinion would be a better presentation if rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
09/29/2002 02:06:00 PM
Aw, I am still not sure why this wasn't rotated before you submitted it. I have a feeling it going to be rated very low becuase of this.
09/29/2002 09:51:00 AM
Love the pic and I'll even forgive the orientation problems :-) 7 nards656
09/28/2002 06:57:00 AM
Ignoring the accidental rotation of the picture this is a really great shot. Good light, DOF and interest. Well done. 9 - floyd
09/27/2002 11:05:00 PM
why not rotate?
09/27/2002 10:54:00 PM
this is really busy, but I like it. If it were upright it would be this weeks wallpaper.10

This is staying in my 10 pile till someone turns it around! That way it comes to the top when I open up so I remember I haven't voted. If no change by Sunday, I'll turn my minitor sideways and see what it looks like.

Why are things sideways in Holland??? Oh,I get it...your 1/2 ways around the world LOL LOL LOL LOL..oh stop it LOL !!!!
09/26/2002 06:59:00 PM
Please rotate you photos prior to submission. :)
Otherwise a nice image.. Nice blues in the sky with puffy clouds. Windmill details stand out against the similar background color... foreground ship lead eye to the windmill.
09/26/2002 05:40:00 PM
cool lighting (I especially like the accent set by the "WR 89" plate), beautiful scenery, boats and windmill - I really like this one. 8 beegee
09/26/2002 04:05:00 PM
I really like it, but it would be better right side up...
09/26/2002 01:39:00 PM
sorry the horizontal placement ruins it for me, good composition otherwise
09/26/2002 08:19:00 AM
uh. your world is mightily slanted.
09/25/2002 11:54:00 PM
this would have been better rotated.

Other than that it is quite well composed but still busy. It is hard to tell what the main focus is, the boat or the windmill
09/25/2002 10:30:00 PM
Other than the orientation, nice picture. :)
09/25/2002 09:48:00 PM
If this were right side up I would give you a 10...(9)
09/25/2002 02:29:00 PM
I didn't know boats could sail up hill! 4-Martin
09/25/2002 12:40:00 PM
vertical¡¡¡
09/25/2002 05:04:00 AM
This is an interesting perspective. A vertical horizon?
09/24/2002 08:33:00 PM
Rotate 90 CW. Nice picture, though.
09/24/2002 05:34:00 PM
NIce shot ! Rotate right 90 deg
09/24/2002 03:38:00 PM
Good subject, colors and DOF. However the water ran out of my monitor.

??

Submitted on the 90 degree angle on purpose? To me, the sideways view adds nothing, but as a normal shot, I like it quite a bit. 7, just-married

Nice idea. The shadow on the bottom (left if you rotate) of the picture is a bit distracting. Might have been better if you had moved a bit more to the right and gotten the rest of the boat in the picture. (of course that's just my opinion) 6

09/23/2002 11:18:00 PM
um, my neck hurts looking at this side ways
09/23/2002 11:16:00 PM
Ouch, my neck hurts from looking at it sideways....ouch..nice contrast, nice colors
09/23/2002 10:48:00 PM
Was sideways an intent?
09/23/2002 06:51:00 PM
Nice shot, but wish you took the time to rotate the picture 90 degrees clockwise.
09/23/2002 06:45:00 PM
This is a beautiful photo. I saw the correctly rotated version :) joanns
09/23/2002 02:56:00 PM
Beautiful shot. I am going to assume you meant to submit as portrait, cause I can find no reason for having this in landscape. If I am missing something, please let me know! karmat
09/23/2002 01:21:00 PM
Rated as a portrait orientation which I assume was intended.
09/23/2002 01:10:00 PM
Nice work but why is it turned on it's side? I do like your shot. Good luck ...Score 7 Justine
09/23/2002 11:14:00 AM
I would have liked to see this image in portrait mode instead of landscape, otherwise nice image
09/23/2002 11:09:00 AM
Try it 90 degrees clockwise. :)
09/23/2002 08:41:00 AM
Presentation of your image is everything.... I am definitely unable to decide the merit of posting this photo rotated in this orientation. if there is some purpose in this, I can[t determine what it is. Vertically oriented, I like it a lot more... - jmsetzler
09/23/2002 06:14:00 AM
Just wondering if there is any reason for this image to be sideways??
09/23/2002 01:11:00 AM
Well, I must admit that I just realized that all this time my monitor has been turned the wrong way :) Aside from the obvious problem here, this is a great shot. I love this kind of setting and you captured it well. Just be sure to rotate the puppy next time :) -7
09/23/2002 12:49:00 AM
oops! 5 anyway
